[Tl;dr: The Bose QCU are a surprisingly good ANC headphone option, even in a pretty crowded marketplace. They have the best ANC outside of the Sonys among the models I’ve heard/reviewed, and unlike the Sonys, I think they’re worth listening to (after a little bit of EQ adjustment in the Bose app). I will still take the Bathys or HDB 630 over them if we’re not considering pricing, but with the release of the QCU Gen 2 and the availability of Gen 1 renewed units, the QCU are a pretty compelling and competitive offering for travel use.]
